I just have to throw a quick note up here with a Happy Birthday to my baby, Hayley, who’s 10 today.  10 – UGH – I’m getting old.  The terrible mom in me absolutely forgot her birthday this morning, and didn’t remember until I was at work and looked at a calendar.  Of course I felt terrible!  Fortunately her camp group had not yet left, so I ran down to the cafeteria, hugged her and told her happy birthday.  She said she remembered it was her birthday, but didn’t even realize that I hadn’t told her happy birthday.  Not fazed at all.  Of course not – the things we moms worry about, the kids don’t even think twice about.  And vice versa.  Oh – and for anyone paying attention – no, Shea’s super-surprise birthday present to Hayley was not even close to finished – barely 3 rows started.  Maybe Christmas!  And the picture here is actually of Hayley around her 9th birthday, wearing the Jen’s Poncho I made her.  Happy Birthday Boo-Bear!
