Lessons to learn and medals to earn

I was so excited about the new thing I learned for the Knitting Olympics (entrelac), I decided to tackle a few other new things. I finished up the body of Mom’s vest (pics to come soon), but because it was sideways stockinette, it rolled up like a crepe, and I decided that the crochet edge called for in the pattern just wasn’t cute. At all. So after a quick (really) phone call to Tricia, I decided on an applied i-cord edge, and got instructions from her, and guess what – it worked! Now I just need to go pick up more yarn. Any ideas how much it will take?
