You’ve just gotta love the South!  A few days ago everyone was whining about the heat – it’s been in the 60′s and 70′s for most of December and January (or as my brother referred to it – Juneuary).  A few days ago it turned cold, and this morning it snowed enough to nearly cover the grass.  Some did freeze on the road, and there were several accidents, so of course, no school today!  Originally we were delayed until 10:00, then they called back to cancel.  It’s so kind of them to have a phone tree that calls everyone – none of that pesky watching the news and closing for us private school kids!

My girls were true to form – once they found out school was closed, one went back to bed, and the other blogged about it.  We’re all up now, doing as little as possible – might as well enjoy the day as much as we can.  Now if only it could freeze enough tonight that we could stay home tomorrow too…
