And Alison has her socks.  Alison is one of those cool new things – an online friend.  We have lots in common considering we’re worlds apart in so many ways, but when I embarked on my Year of Socks for Other People (and occasionally for me), I knew she would be my first victim (I mean recipient).  She took it upon herself to knit a lace scarf or shawl for every woman in her church congregation, and last I heard, she was getting darned close.  She’s always had a word of encouragement for anyone who needed it, and I’m proud to call her a friend, and can’t wait until I can meet her in person one day.  Hey Alison – you’ve been Alisoned!!!
